Sitting, waiting, wishing...

I'm sitting here, waiting for my bf to call. It's his last day in Germany, he'll be leaving today.
The last days I've spent mostly with crying (I wish I hadn't). We had a wonderful time the last couple of days and enjoyed them as much as we could. It's just horrible waiting for his call to tell me when exactly he'll be leaving. Then he's gonna sign me on post, there'll be a goodbye-ceremony for the soldiers, their family and friends. We'll have an hour to say good bye, and then he'll be gone for the whole next year. I can't wait til August 31nd, 2oo7. It's such a long long time. I don't want to think about it.
Here are some pictures from our walk yesterday:

Hm, think of me later. I'll be posting again in couple of days when I'll feel better.

Are you impressed that I'm posting a new blog again, though I posted like only a couple of days ago? I bet you are.
I'm so tired of all that right now. What?
Well, my bf is leaving monday for Iraq. Yep, that's the destiny of someone who's in love with an army boy. I wish he wouldn't leave. I really have no idea how to deal with that. I'm aware that it's going to be a tough year, for both of us.
But I keep on forgetting that he is in the worse situation, it's not me. I'm not the one who's sent off to war because of a certain man who .. well, I don't want to get too political right now, I'm really not in the mood for that. Leave it up to your own imagination what my opinion might be towards all that.
(Caution. This might get a little personal right now.)
To be honest, I never thought that I could actually love somebody so much. Since my lovelife got screwed up several times really bad, I never imagined being able to trust someone again. But somehow it worked out, and I still don't know why. It was just something special, and it still is. It's such a wonderful thing being with him, and since he's become such a huge part of my life, I can't imagine how life is without him. Believe me, I am not making up something. I know that this guy loves me too, and it's so hard to let him go. I wish he'd stay.
And I know it's going to be worth it, waiting for a wonderful person for such a long time. But it's so hard to stay strong.
The only "good" thing is that I get to see him on his so-called "R&R" (the leave soldiers get during war). I'll be going to california then because he wants to see me on his holidays and he also wants me to meet his family. (I've already met his dad when he came to visit in May) Maybe I'll also be able to see my family in nc if I can afford the trip from west- to eastcoast. I'm still debating on that one because of the money issue.
So well, that's my random thoughts for now.

Oh wow, it's been a while ago since my last post! I don't know where the days went, time seems to fly by. Why can't that happen during the semester!?

I had a great weekend. Not that I did much though. Friday has been a lazy day; I spent most of the time with KJ, I guess we were just watching the family guy on DVD which is hilarious.
Saturday it was my friend Liza's birthday. We hung out at a bar where her american friends soon showed up. Though they're a little dorky, it was lots of fun. I have to add that luckily my bf showed up too. We had some drinks and after that we were heading to another bar. Saturday is karaoke night! Yeah. We sang The tide is high, I don't wanna miss a thing and at the end, we all went up on the stage to sing Piano man. It was so much fun.
Luckily Liza brought her camera so I can post the pictures which I stole on here:

That's Liza, her bf John (it's the guy in the middle) and his weird but funny buddy.

I guess you know by now who that is, don't you? I like that picture a lot, though KJ looks not too excited about hanging out at the bar with us. He said he doesn't like the place because he's sober. I think he can only deal with etablissments like that when he's drunk which doesn't happen to often anymore since he's with me.

That's Liza, Janine and me at the karaoke bar. You can tell from our facial expressions that it was tons of fun there!
May I add that it took a while since we finally had a good picture of us?

Can I say that this picture is not very advantageous?

The ceiling is also very interesting, yep.

Ok, this is definately hard to write! I wish I was a better writer, but it takes me quite a while to figure out what I want to actually post on here.

I'm enjoying my holidays pretty well so far, here is a picture of my friend Liza (actually Lisa, but I like to call her that) and me at some bar where mostly weird american drunk soldiers try to hit on innocent german girls:

I've gotten my results from my finals the other day which really did surprise me. I took four finals which went okay, but I didn't expect too much. All I wanted is passing all of them. I got three A's (medicine, politics/sociology, bible studies) and the other one I also passed. To be honest, I never thought I did so well in college. I'm still having issues in being confident in myself when it comes to college, studies and all that. Though I know I'm definately not a dumbass and a lot of people tell me I'm smart, I don't consider myself a smart and intelligent person. I've always hated those idiots who walk around with their nose up high and think they're the world. I never ever want to become one of those conceited people.
Anyway, since I know now that I did well in my tests, I can really enjoy my summer now. :)
